More About Lotta Livin’

Our lives are filled with Post War images:

During the PostWar period (1945-1965) designers predicted the shape of things to come. Artists revolutionized design and Mid Century Modernism spawned the Atomic Age we live in now. Although some ideas were far fetched, others were not: talking cars, electrified homes, automated cooking and computers are all a part of daily life. Lounge, Googie and Americana have seen a Renaissance…

Retro TV branding is everywhere…

Target Market

In the post 9/11 world, pride of home ownership is more important than ever and hibernation is hip. Nostalgic products dominate the marketplace as more people yearn for a happier world of yesterday. Baby boomers control the marketplace. VW Beetles and Mini Coopers are back in production. Chrysler’s PT Cruiser is one of the most successful new car lines. Ford has a new ‘old’ Tbird and Pontiac and Chevy are making retro GTOs and Bel Airs respectively. Celebrities throw Twister and Monopoly game parties. Elvis, Classic TV and Beatles licensed products sell alongside Sponge Bob Square Pants. The Fall network lineup is filled with classic era style “Comfort TV.”

This show is aimed squarely at the prime 18 to 35 market. College age kids and young professionals with discretionary income will be attracted to learning more about the fresh Modern images they see regularly portrayed in music videos, numerous tv commercials and in fashion ads. The broader demographic includes a wide range. Baby Boomers and older audiences will like Lotta Livin’s nostalgia. It reminds them of a romantic time when the Rat Pack played Vegas and dad had a martini after work!
